Rachel first received a Personal Training degree through the National Personal Training Institute, Waltham, MA, graduating top in her class. Her study involved 500 hours of intense classroom and hands-on training covering Bioenergetics, Nutrition, Strength Training, Cardiovascular Conditioning, Anatomy and Muscle Physiology. After graduation, Rachel went on to pass the NCCA-accredited Advanced Certified Personal Training (A-CPT) exam which is recognized in the industry as a top national certification. 

In 2009 Rachel received her certification as an ACE Lifestyle & Weight Management Coach. Developed by leading industry experts, the ACE Lifestyle & Weight Management Coach Certification highlights the essential relationship between physical activity and nutrition, and illustrates how permanent weight loss is most effectively brought about through a change in lifestyle. With this certification, she can help her clients reach their goals, lead healthier lives, & most importantly make lasting changes for sustainable success.

Rachel also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Bryant University, RI. At Bryant she played four years of Varsity soccer and was Team Captain her senior year. In addition, she was elected to the Northeast 10 - All New England Collegiate Team. One highlight was receiving the prestigious Female Student/Athlete of the Year Award, given to her for maintaining a Magna Cum Laude GPA while leading the women’s soccer team. 

As the owner of Momentum Fitness, Rachel has launched her unique-style fitness Boot Camps with tremendous success. Clients range in their fitness levels and abilities yet all participate in the fast-paced, results-oriented and (most importantly) fun environment these classes offer. Every class is different, which keeps things challenging, motivating & everyone on track towards achieving their fitness goals. Participants love the results they get, and the demand for her classes continues to expand throughout the area. 

As a fitness consultant, she also provides customized services and content to other fitness companies, insurance agencies, and private organizations. In addition, she has developed a comprehensive Wellness Seminar that gives her audience a 360-degree view on health, nutrition, fitness, exercise & lifestyle. She has presented for smaller private groups as well as large corporations. Her approach is fun, educational & really geared towards teaching healthier behaviors as they relate to overall wellness.

Rachel is always impressed with the diversity of the clients she works with. She trains athletes, business leaders, teachers, soccer moms, grandmothers, military personnel, high school teens, and even other trainers. She understands that each client’s goals are unique and their training should be as well. Whether the goal is to lose weight, gain muscle, or train for a specific sport or event, she can develop a customized program to maximize their results.

As a mother of three and business owner, Rachel understands first-hand the energy required to maintain a busy - yet healthy - lifestyle today. Her positive attitude and encouraging manner allow her to push her clients beyond their previous limits. She loves to teach, motivate and inspire people to change their lives for the better each and every day.
